Jonathon O. Russell, MD, FACS is the Founder of the Russell Center for Endocrine Health, and a leading international expert in minimally invasive, remote access, and the treatment of advanced thyroid and parathyroid disease.

He trained at the Cleveland Clinic before beginning his career at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, MD.

He rose to become the Director of the Multidisciplinary Thyroid Tumor Center at Johns Hopkins, and oversaw clinical trials in scarless thyroid surgery and radiofrequency ablation of thyroid câncer.

In 2024, he left to begin the Russell Center for Endocrine Health, with the goal of providing the most innovative and personalized care available.
